OPEN COMPANY CLASS

Join Premier Dance Theatre as they prepare for a day of Research and Development in the studio at Mayflower Studios.

Class will be led by Artistic Director Olivia Wallis Jackson. Olivia’s contemporary class gives dancers the opportunity to tune into shape and fluidity. Through a series of release-based phrases that encourage dancers to engage the body fully by travelling and sweeping in and out of the floor, we will explore how movement can find both form and flow.

Dates: 4th & 5th of July, 25th & 26th July

Time: 09:00-10:30

Location: Mayflower Studios, Studio 3

Cost: Free! but please register so we can let Mayflower know who to expect.

‘MOON-STAINED’ R&D SHARINGS

We’re excited to share the beginnings of our new work ‘Moon Stained’ created as part of Olivia’s Mayflower Propel Associateship.

These R&D Sharings are an exciting opportunity to join the company in the studio and experience this new work at its very beginnings. Designed for 4 women/non-binary performers, Moon-Stained explores the many betrayals of womanhood, combining mythological characters with real women’s stories to create a new layer of modern folklore.

Dates: 5th of July & 26th July

Time: 17:00-18:00

Location: Mayflower Studios, Studio 3

Cost: Free! but please register so we can let MAST know who to expect.
